Ownership verification committee at the Directorate General of Housing in Muscat Governorate, Ministry of Housing held its tenth regular meeting this year, headed by Said bin Rashid Al Habsi, Director General of housing in Muscat Governorate, Chairman of the Committee and in the presence of members of the Committee. The meeting discussed (56) ownership verification and registration cases in the wilayat of Qurayyat which had completed all legal procedures, and the Committee gave the appropriate recommendations about them.
Today, Thursday, the Committee will also discuss (52) ownership verification and registration cases; (26) cases in Al Seeb, (18) in Al Amerat, (6) cases in the wilayat of Muscatm and two (2) cases in the wilayat of Muttrah. The ownership verification and registration department has prepared a field visit program that aims to raise comprehensive reports on the disputed sites for consideration and to make appropriate recommendations on them.
On the other hand, the ownership verification committee at the Directorate General of Housing in Al Buraimi Governorate reviewed (16) ownership claim application in the wilayats of Al Buraimi and Mahadha, during its 16thmeeting of this year yesterday. The meeting was headed by Khamis bin Saif Al Abdul Salam, Director General of Housing in Al Buraimi governorate in the presence of members of the Committee.
During the meeting (16) ownership claim applications of different uses were reviewed, including (10) applications in the wialyat of Mahadha of which (7) are agricultural, and (3) housing applications. As for the wilayat of Al Buraimi, (6) applications were reviewed, (4) were agricultural, and (2) housing.
